Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE), took part in the 4th edition of Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2018 (BETD), organised by the German government in association with International Renewable Energy Alliance (REN Alliance), in Berlin, Germany.
BETD is a platform for international public and private audiences to come together to discuss viable concepts for the ongoing global transformation of the energy sector.
DoE delegation, headed by Eng. Awaidha Murshed Al Marar, DoE Chairman, got first-hand knowledge of the most-up-to-date technological advancements and solutions in the energy sector and infrastructure. They also learned about the experience of the German Federal Republic in the renewable energy arena.
During the two-day event, Al Marar met with a number of German officials, including Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy, to discuss means of
cooperation in energy and renewable energy areas.
The DoE representatives are participating in the event as part of the UAE official delegation.
