Abu Dhabi ranked world’s safest city for 10th consecutive year

Abu Dhabi has ranked first on the world’s safest cities list in 2026, the 10th consecutive year it has topped the list compiled by online database Numbeo, reflecting the emirate’s global leadership in promoting security, stability, and quality of life. His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, highlighted the emirate’s commitment to enhancing the security and safety of all, with advanced policing sustaining Abu Dhabi’s global safety ranking.
Abu Dhabi Police’s proactive security, advanced readiness, digital transformation, and use of AI and predictive analytics, has ensured the emirate remains a preferred place to live globally.
