Khalifa bin Salem Al Mansouri, Acting Under-Secretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, is leading a delegation to Shanghai, China, to bolster economic cooperation in trade, industry, investment, exchange of information and mutual coordination between the two cities.
Al Mansouri said that the visit comes as a result of last year’s historic visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to China, which resulted in an agreement between Abu Dhabi and China. “The visit of Abu Dhabi’s delegation will allow Abu Dhabi delegation to get acquainted with Shanghai’s economic landscape and available investment opportunities and exchange information to build a common investment base between the two sides in the various sectors highlighted in Abu Dhabi Plan, within the framework and objectives of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030,” Al Mansouri added.
The Abu Dhabi delegation consists of Saeed Eisa Al Khyeli, Director-General of the Higher Corporation of Specialised Economic Zones, ZonezCorp, Mania Almulla, CEO of Khalifa Industrial Zone, Kizad, and Faris Al Marzouqi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Trains company, along with
representatives of investment companies.
