H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a delegation comprising participants of the 12th National Defence Course 2024–2025, in the presence of Staff Brigadier Saeed Hassan Mohamed Alyammahi, Commandant of the National Defence College. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the delegation and was briefed on the course’s educational and training programme, which aims to equip participants with advanced scientific and intellectual skills.
He was also introduced to the college’s innovative academic curricula, designed to enhance participants’ competencies and capabilities through developing their skills in research, analysis, assessment, and the formulation and implementation of strategic plans that serve the UAE’s national interests and higher objectives. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed that the National Defence College is a strategic academic institution in the UAE, expressing pride in its continued progress across various domains and the prominent achievements that bolster national gains and support comprehensive, sustainable development. He also praised the efforts of the college’s administrative and teaching staff and commended the participants’ commitment to acquiring advanced and modern knowledge. For their part, the delegation members expressed their pride in meeting H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and extended their gratitude to the UAE’s wise leadership for the substantial support provided to the college, enabling it to fulfil its national mission.
