Dubai parks receive 162,000 visitors during Eid holidays

Dubai parks has received 162,371 visitors, during Eid al-Fitr holidays, marking an increase of 2 percent over the same period last year, said Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Awadhi, Director of Public Parks and Horticulture Department at Dubai Municipality.
Al Awadhi said that the second day of Eid witnessed the maximum number of visitors to the parks reaching a total of 48,468. He revealed that the first day of Eid also witnessed good flow of visitors with a total of 45,447 thronged to the parks on this day, whereas on the third day, the number of visitors was 19,335.
“Good weather contributed in taking Mamzar Park to the first position with regard to the number of visitors as the park received 26,000 visitors on the second day of Eid only. The park accommodated a total of 57,000 visitors during the Eid,” added Al Awadhi.
