Mohammed mourns Kandahar martyrs

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourned the death of the UAE nationals who were martyred in the brutal terrorist attack that occurred in the city of Kandahar in the Republic of Afghanistan. The martyrs were killed while performing their humanitarian mission as part of the UAE programme to provide help and support to the
people of Afghanistan.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed expressed his pride, and that of the UAE leadership and people, in the humanitarian initiatives and roles carried out by Emiratis everywhere in the world.
His Highness confirmed that the perpetrators of this heinous terrorist act do not know the meaning of humanity and its noble values and do not differentiate between young and old people.
Sheikh Mohammed also affirmed that the UAE will continue to provide humanitarian and development assistance to affected communities and support people in need regardless of challenges. He further noted that the sons and daughters of the UAE will continue to support the country’s humanitarian aid programmes to help the poor and those in need around the world.
