ADNOC launches pilot phase of self-refuelling in Abu Dhabi

ADNOC Distribution on Tuesday launched the pilot phase of its smart self-refueling service (ADNOC SMART) in Abu Dhabi, which will run until October 1 and cover four service stations on Abu Dhabi Island.
ADNOC SMART also enables registered customers to benefit from a variety of innovative payment methods.
The pilot phase of ADNOC SMART was inaugurated at Rabdan ‘smart’ service station in the presence of Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Abdulla Salem Al
Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, as well as senior officials of the company, select guests and stakeholders.
The new service marks an important milestone in enhancing the operational capacity and efficiency of the ADNOC Distribution network.
Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said, “This new electronic service leverages the latest technology to enhance the customer experience. It is in keeping with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030 aimed at achieving a comprehensive digital transformation for the UAE and also demonstrates ADNOC’s commitment to adopting international best practices and improving
company performance.”
