Royal Jet, the Abu Dhabi-headquartered, award-winning international luxury flight service provider, is co-exhibiting with Boeing Business Jets at this year’s Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show with the latest addition to its expanding fleet of aircraft at Dubai’s Airshow Site at DWC.
Royal Jet’s new BBJ utilises the latest in technology, interior design and luxurious comfort, and follows hot-on the-heels of its sister aircraft. Working with various partners, including Boeing Business Jets, PAC, Lufthansa Technik and Honeywell, Royal Jet has introduced its pair of new aircraft on time and within budget, offering elegant and innovative interiors designed by New York based designer, Edése Doret. A key feature of both BBJs is the latest telecommunication and entertainment technology, including a KA Band Wi-Fi internet system to provide large bandwidth enabling services such as Netflix, IP based Live TV and download and upload speeds not seen before in the industry.
This aircraft also features
Enhanced Vision System (EVS) technology in the cockpit. Royal Jet is the first charter operator in the UAE to receive regulatory approval from the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to use this capability. The EVS system enhances operational safety by using a stand-alone thermal imaging camera that sees infrared energy emitting or radiating from objects and helps pilots navigate better in poor weather conditions.
“The latest BBJ is the second addition to our fleet in recent months and is like nothing else in the region. It is fresh in its design and represents an exciting change for us. Through a careful growth strategy that focuses on our clients, we are introducing products which give them exactly what they want and I am pleased to say that these two new amazing aircraft have already been very positively received,” said Rob DiCastri, Royal Jet’s new President and CEO.
