A large number of executives and industry professionals from local, regional and global markets took part in the second edition of Maritime Standard Ship Finance and Trade Conference held here this week.
Hosted by Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP), the event aimed to chart a future course for shipping and maritime sectors that would boost the industry segment.
Dr. Abdullah Salem Al Katheeri, Director-General, Federal Transport Authority – Land and Maritime, delivered the keynote address. Sheikh Talal Al Khaled Al Sabah, Chairman of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, was also present at the conference.

The first session covered the changing global economic environment, assessing the main challenges and opportunities lying ahead.
