The Ministry of Finance (MoF), will showcase a range of new and highly developed electronic and smart services at the 36th GITEX Technology Week under the federal e-government stand, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from
October 16-20.
The MoF’s participation reflects its commitment towards smart and electronic services, and to strengthen communication channels with customers. A number of interactive workshops will be held on the most used and popular smart services under the theme “Customer’s Voice”.
Commenting on its participation, Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the MoF, stressed the ministry’s commitment to participate in leading technology events that have a high impact on users and the public, to review the latest software and smart services developments.
“These events give participants the opportunity to meet with innovators in the IT sector, exchange experience on the smart shift, and take advantage of the leading practices to develop a financial management system that saves users and customers their time and effort, while maintaining high levels of security,” he added.
“The ministry continues its effort to deliver the best and most innovative electronic and smart services, strengthen communication channels with customers to identify their needs, as well as introduce new features to elevate the level of desired service and raise customers’ level of awareness. The ministry also seeks through its participation in ‘GITEX’ to communicate with its partners and strengthen co-operation by developing strategic partnerships,” Al Khoori observed.
To complement its participation in the GITEX, the ministry launched ‘MOFSNAP’ on Snapchat to strengthen e-participation and share its live
experience of the exhibition.
