Dubai Land Department (DLD) has unveiled its brand-new revamped website, featuring an innovative and modern easy-browsing system, in addition to providing a range of services tailored to a range of customer demographics. The new system is embedded with options for six major global languages, namely Arabic, English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Russian.
The announcement was made at an internal ceremony attended by DLD Director General, HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, as well as directors and officers from the IT department and DLD’s technical arm – Emirates Real Estate Solutions (ERES).
DLD Director General, HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren said: “We will continue to develop our electronic services, as we constantly endeavour to integrate the best of technologies in order to keep abreast of developments. These innovations help us to contribute to the comprehensive vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the smartest city in the world within three years.â€
Dubai Land Department’s Director of Information Technology Department, Abdullah Al Yaloug commented: “We are proud to launch our revamped website, which we are confident will provide a thoroughly user-friendly experience with a vast range of enhancements and technical improvements, all of which are aimed towards ensuring our customers’ comfort and happiness, and at gaining trust in our organisation. The launch of this innovative and highly developed site represents our efforts to provide the very best services to our customers in a smooth and seamless way. The website’s aspects are tailored from thorough research on our users, taking into consideration a variety of demographics and purposes of entry to the site, as well as different levels of ability in dealing with these technologies. ”
This newly renovated site is expected to gain the acclaim and appreciation of visitors for its unique characteristics, such as easy navigation and a diverse choice of services and information. It also includes the location of all department services, including the real estate investment map, Dubai real-estate market ‘EMart’, as well as providing an introduction to all affiliations and departments.
The new Dubai Land Department website implements the Government of Dubai Smart website criteria, through its focus on the arrangement and classification of services based on customer segmentation. These advanced features enable customers to search for services in a variety of ways, including by department or available services.
The site’s developers were keen to renovate the website to combine both aesthetic and practical features. This was borne out by adopting the finest programming and design systems to help users to access the available information with ease and minimal effort, and enjoy a selection of new e-services through the lens of different global languages.
