H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, said that the Ajman Vision 2030: For the People represents a genuine commitment that the emirate’s government translates into initiatives, policies, and legislation aimed at serving the community and enhancing quality of life.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar stated that government excellence is not an end in itself but a means to improve people’s lives. He stressed that competition should not be about awards, but about sincere service to the community.
This came during His Highness’s chairing of the pioneering government leadership meeting at the Government Departments Complex at the Ruler’s Court in Ajman.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, representative of H.H. the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the Department of Finance in Ajman; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, and Sheikh Saqr bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.
In his address to the executive leadership, Sheikh Ammar reiterated that excellence in government is a tool for improving the quality of life. He said, “We must move beyond the pursuit of awards and strive to achieve excellence in ways that truly serve the people.”
He also highlighted the importance of regularly reviewing performance and identifying areas for improvement to ensure services meet the expectations of Ajman’s Emiratis and residents.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar emphasised the need to achieve a leading standard in service delivery across all channels and to increase customer satisfaction. He instructed that relevant reports be analysed and improvement plans developed, with regular follow-up by the working teams.
He also directed the expansion of the Global Star Rating System for Services to cover all service centres and channels. Additionally, he called for enhancing services at outsourcing centres and developing bundled government services to make them more accessible and user-friendly.
Sheikh Ammar underscored the importance of fostering a culture of innovation within government entities and encouraging staff to propose creative ideas and solutions. He also stressed the need to implement project management frameworks and measure their impact on government performance.
His Highness also stressed the importance of preparing government entities to integrate and empower people of determination in the workplace. He highlighted the need for sustainable operations and smart resource investment to ensure continued efficient and high-quality service delivery.
He concluded by affirming that Ajman Vision 2030 does not allow for hesitation or regression. The next phase will be built on three key pillars: achievement, progress, and accountability.
In closing, the Crown Prince of Ajman called for the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance government performance in line with the aspirations of the Ajman community.
