Additionally, projects will explore the impact of environmental and social factors on childhood development, investigate comorbidities in autism spectrum disorder, and assess the potential of positive discipline in parenting programs to foster better parental attitudes and practices.
These initiatives are designed to tackle diverse challenges that affect childhood health and education, with potential long-term benefits for the UAE’s future generations.
Advisor at Vice Chancellor’s Office Professor Ayesha Al Dhaheri remarked, “The UAEU’s support of these projects through the Fatima Bint Mubarak Motherhood and Childhood Research Centre reflects our dedication to advancing research that directly impacts society. By empowering our students to engage in research that tackles real-world issues, we are not only enhancing their academic journey but also contributing valuable insights to the field of early childhood education and health.”
This funding marks an essential step in UAEU’s ongoing efforts to support impactful research initiatives. The selected projects are expected to set a foundation for further research advancements, ultimately contributing to the university’s mission of knowledge creation for the betterment of society.
