H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has attended a networking event with members of the UAE-Singapore Business Council, during his official visit to the Republic of Singapore.
The event highlighted the investment opportunities offered by Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s business-friendly environment to further strengthen economic and trade ties between the two countries, with the UAE serving as Singapore’s top trading partner in the Middle East and North Africa region.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed commended the strong economic, trade and investment ties between the two countries, emphasising the importance of further strengthening their comprehensive economic partnership, highlighting the mutual commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation across key sectors to achieve shared aspirations.
The event emphasised the importance of continuing to drive investment across vital sectors, including AI and innovation, advanced technology, education, energy, urban planning and smart cities, sustainable economic development and research and development collaboration.
During the event, H.H. Sheikh Khaled met with business leaders and CEOs from leading Singaporean companies to discuss enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the UAE and Singaporean businesses to explore ways to attract further investments to Abu Dhabi and the UAE through joint efforts between the public and private sectors.
