UAE President, Rulers raise UAE flag nationwide

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, along with their grandsons, on Thursday raised the UAE flag nationwide on the occasion of the ‘’UAE Flag Day” marked annually on November 3.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; HH Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain and HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, raised the UAE flag.

Their Highnesses expressed their utmost pride on this precious occasion, stressing that the celebration symbolises our unity, sovereignty, and pride and an occasion to renew our pledge of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

They also wished further development and prosperity for the homeland under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

On UAE Flag Day, HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, stressed that the country’s flag is the symbol of its unity, strength and future.

“On this glorious event, we commemorate the nation’s political, economic, developmental, scientific, educational, social, cultural and sporting achievements, whose foundations were established by the UAE’s leaders and founding fathers,” he added.
