Blue Ocean Academy CEO Dr Sathya Menon receives UAE golden visa

Dubai-based Indian entrepreneur and CEO of UAE’s leading corporate training services brand Blue Ocean Academy, Dr Sathya Menon was honoured with the much-coveted 10-year UAE Golden Visa.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled by this great gesture shown to me by Dubai’s ruling authorities. I have always been fascinated by the visionary leadership of our beloved UAE’s rulers and my respect and gratitude towards them only continue to increase with every passing day. I am thankful to the rulers of this great nation for bestowing such a great recognition upon me,” said Dr Menon.
The Golden Visa was implemented by the UAE government in 2019 and allows foreigners to live, work and study in the country for a long period without the need of a national sponsor.
Expressing his thoughts on the Golden Visa, Dr Menon said, “The Golden Visa is a huge honour for expats residing in the UAE. It is a unique and thoughtful step, that will unequivocally encourage existing businesses as well as attract new investments to this land.”
“My decision to choose the UAE as my workspace has been rewarded. I have always believed that if you work with sincerity and the right intention, your purpose will not go unnoticed. And I have experienced the same at various stages of my journey here in the UAE. Dubai is a city which embraces you warmly and has plenty to offer,” said Dr. Menon.
He further added, “The UAE has emerged as one of the key global business and investment hubs in the world economy and will only continue to grow stronger in the future. And I am extremely happy that I could do my bit towards contributing to the nation’s progression.”
Dr Menon is greatly inspired by the philosophies of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Among several of the ruler’s words of wisdom, one, in particular, dominates his spirit – “In the race for excellence, there is no finishing line,” the essence of which lingers on in the academy’s quest for excellence.
