HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment and renewable energy.
The meeting also touched on means of encouraging the private sector and businessmen to communicate and benefit from the investment opportunities available in both countries.
HH Sheikh Abdullah and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam discussed means to develop and boost the economic, trade and tourism relations between the two countries, in addition to encouraging investments and advanced industrial projects.
The UAE Foreign Minister also expressed his appreciation for the active role played by Vietnamese workers in the UAE and their contributions to various development projects.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam hailed the existing political relations between the two countries and highlighted the need to enhance the economic side. He explained that looking for investment opportunities is a demand for both sides, especially with regard to investment opportunities in his country.
He expressed his government’s appreciation to the UAE government and its concerned authorities for the care, attention and good treatment that the Vietnamese workers are
receiving in the country.
