The Group is the force behind the popular Zaroob and Mezza House chains of restaurants, which were launched in 2010 and 2007, respectively by the Zuhour Group.
Zaroob is a concept inspired by the traditional street food vendors found around the Levant region. Zaroob captures the best and most authentic aspects of wholesome and simple cooking. The founder wanted to bring in the history of Arab street food to a modern audience. The live cooking stations, juice bar, open kitchens and diversity of decoration from the Arab world make it lively and enjoyable for diners.
Currently, branches are open on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Palm Jumeirah and Global Village in Dubai with more outlets in the future in Ibn Battuta Mall and Dubai Marina.
Furthermore, Mezza House was also created by Nasser Zuhour, who feared that the recipes of his childhood would be lost to a generation that spends less time cooking at home and passing down culinary
heritage. It was launched in 2007, and was created to celebrate the cultural cuisine from the Levant.
Mezza house is a renowned name amongt the Emarati and Arabic elite in Dubai. Staying true to its theme and authenticity, customers often proclaim their love for the food, which is homely and delicious and keeps them hooked onto the Lebanese joint. The unique flavours are born of true heritage recipes which are exclusive to Mezza House and are typically not found in other Levantine restaurants. The range of traditional dishes is often found in the Syrian, Jordanian and Palestinian cookbook.
The cozy interiors revolve around the Arabic Heritage and at heart, Mezza house is more than just a restaurant. Ambient, enticing middle-eastern flavoured food and, a location opposite the iconic Burj Khalifa at the Downtown Boulevard is not to miss. To make it convenient for its diners, the restaurant offers valet parking.
With his entrepreneurial vision, the Group and its restaurants annual growth is over 8 percent. By the end of Quarter 2 of 2016, Zuhour Group plans to open four more branches across the UAE and because of this steady increase ambitious expansion plans. The group has a turnover over AED150,000,000 with staff retention of over 550 employees.
