UAE and Kyrgyzstan to bolster economic ties

Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, met President Almazbek Atambayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, during a visit to Kyrgyzstan where he headed an economic delegation to discuss strengthening bilateral economic relations, and support joint projects to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, which was held in the capital, Bishkek, the Minister of Energy conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the UAE leadership, to the Kyrgyzstani President, stressing the UAE’s keenness to develop relations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields to achieve common
interest.
President Atambayev welcomed the minister and his accompanying delegation, and also conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, wishing the UAE’s leadership and its friendly people continuous advancement and progress.
The Minister of Energy also met Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Kyrgyzstani Prime Minister, to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities for development.
During the meetings, which included other senior Kyrgyz officials, the UAE minister and delegation discussed a number of projects and investment opportunities to promote non-oil trade
between the two countries.
, as well as opportunities in the aviation, infrastructure, logistical, food security, and clean energy fields.
