The Rolly Keyboard 2, has unveiled, offers the productivity-conscious access to a full-size keyboard with five rows of keys that can connect wirelessly to a phone or tablet.
The new accessory is powered by a single, replaceable AAA-size battery and when it’s not in use rolls up (hence the name) into a hexagonal shape.
LG is by no means the only company offering mobile keyboards but what makes the Rolly 2 intriguing is that the company has found a way of packing in all of the keys on a standard keyboard, including a dedicated row of numbers without making the thing too bulky or problematic to drop in a bag when not in use.
And, because it tethers via Bluetooth, the keyboard, while optimized for LG’s own products, will theoretically work with any tablet, phablet, phone or notebook as long as it too has Bluetooth.
LG demonstrated the Rolly 2 in South Korea on Thursday, but is yet to confirm wider launch dates or
potential pricing.
