The UAE, through its humanitarian arm, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), provided new batches of food aid to the residents of Wadi Yebaith, Wadi Hawl and Al Ghamssah in Yebaith District, Hadramaut.
The aid included the distribution of 1,300 food parcels weighing 104,910 tonnes, to assist 6,500 underprivileged individuals.
The number of food parcels distributed by the ERC since the start of the Year of Tolerance 2019 amounted to 6,402 parcels assisting 32,010 Yemenis, totalling 516,641.4 tonnes.
