A total of 1,272 food baskets have been distributed by Emirates Red Crescent’s (ERC) convoys across remote and nomadic pastoralist areas in a number of districts in governorate of Shabwa, from which 7,709 eligible locals benefitted.
The convoys, fitting within the UAE continued aid programmes in Yemen, reached out to medical and disabled rehabilitation centers as well as oncology units.
The relief material, which included essential aid items, were distributed among the patients and medical staff who expressed appreciation to the UAE for the continued assistance sent by the country’s premier humanitarian arm.
