Smart Dubai, FCSA enhance support for UN data forum

The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA) signed a strategic partnership agreement with Smart Dubai, to enhance cooperation for supporting the 2nd United Nations World Data Forum 2018.
The forum will be held in the UAE in October, with over 1500 experts in the field of data and statistics from countries of the world expected to attend.
The partnership agreement aims at uniting efforts to contribute to the success of the world’s largest data event.
Abdullah Nasser Lootah, FCSA Director General, said, “The combination of efforts and effective cooperation among all parties will have a significant impact on the success of hosting the United Nations World Data Forum 2018, consolidating the UAE’s leading position as a global destination for world-class events.”
