Careem brings economic car service to Abu Dhabi

The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) in Abu Dhabi signed an agreement with Careem Transport Network Company. The company uses technology to facilitate its customer’s mobility.
ITC was represented by Mohammed Darwish Al Qamzi, General Manager, ITC, and Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Managing Director of the Gulf Region of Careem. The press conference took place in DoT HQ in Abu Dhabi.
This initiative supports the Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision that aims to fulfill the customers’ demands to find smart and transport solutions in order to support the endeavours to create an integrated and sustainable transport network according to international practices. Customers will enjoy transport services using luxury cars and limousines via different communications modes and electronic channels and smart applications according to the Hire Cars and Limousines Regulations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
“This agreement comes as part of DoT’s endeavor to fulfill the leadership’s prospects to make Abu Dhabi a pioneer in the field of smart transport, globally, which is a key factor in smart cities,” Al Qamzi stated.
“According to agreement, Careem will transport the passengers within or outside the Emirate using licen-sed private or public hire cars.”
