The Emirates Centre for Transport and Leasing of Emirates Transport (ET), has completed a series of new and renewed three- to five-year contracts signed in April with major customers from the government and private sectors, which are valued at around AED60 million.
Tariq AlSedawi, Manager of the Centre, stated that the ET’s expertise and accomplishments, its commitment to offering quality services, and its wide geographical coverage to ensure services for all its customers have enabled it to achieve record growth and complete the contracts, especially in the areas of transport, communication and integrated logistical services while highlighting the organisation’s ongoing efforts to realise the wise leadership’s aspirations to improve the quality of transport services, achieve the happiness of customers and gain their trust.
AlSedawi added that the ET has employed its transport services expertise, in cooperation with leading government and private companies and organisations, by providing consistent transport and rental services for various sectors, including by transporting groups and individuals, as well as food, petroleum, medical equipment and hazardous
materials.
The ET crowned its success by the signing of the contracts last month, he added.
He explained that in April, the centre signed new contracts to offer transport and rental services, manage fleets of nearly 1,500 vehicles, and provide over 300 qualified drivers and technicians while affirming that the centre is exerting all its efforts to fulfil its contracts and offer added-value services to its customers and exceed their expectations, which will strengthen the organisation’s competitiveness.
The centre aims to offer a package of competitive services to support the activities of various companies, organisations and academic institutions, by providing transport services and long-term rentals, through a fleet of 6,000 vehicles that will be driven by 2,000 qualified drivers who have completed relevant training programmes, highlighting the centre’s efforts to fulfil its contracts and achieve customer satisfaction and happiness, he said in conclusion.
