Smart Dubai has signed an agreement with Swedish trade and investment board, Business Sweden, at its headquarters in Dubai Design District (d3).
The agreement seeks to encourage cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides with regards to advanced technologies, such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT). It also fosters cooperation in data-related fields and the demand economy, as well as the sharing economy and Smart Dubai’s government services.
Director-General of Smart Dubai Office, Dr Aisha bint Butti bin Bishr, signed the accord on behalf of Smart Dubai, while Cherif Sayed, Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at Business Sweden, represented the Swedish trade and investment board. The signing ceremony was attended by Mikael Damberg, Sweden’s Minister for Enterprise and Innovation.
