FAHR obtains European standard on innovation management system

The Federal Authority of Government Human Resources (FAHR), attained the European specification certificate on innovation management system (TS 16555), the first international standard that provides an integrated institutional system for innovation and includes a set of standards and requirements encouraging institutional innovation. The certificate was awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), following a thorough auditing of FAHR’s innovation department. FAHR seeks to promote the culture of innovation in its work environment.
Kelaitham Al Shamsi, Director of the Department of Strategic and Future, FAHR, said the recognition would help FAHR deliver its strategic approaches, which would enable the UAE to be among the best five countries in the world.
The certificate was presented to Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Director-General of FAHR, during a ceremony attended by top FAHR officials.
