Dr Reem Othman, CEO at Saudi German Hospital-Dubai, (SGH) has won the award of the International Medical Care Organization based in London, UK. She received the awarded certificate at a ceremony held in London on November 9, in the presence of a large crowd of medical tourism sector enthusiasts in Europe and the Arab world.
Dr Reem Othman was at the top candidate for such prestigious Award given her great achievements and works renowned for efficiency as well as managing a long-established medical institution that brought her to the international health organization ranks in terms of commitment to giving the patients and their families the needed care and attention, leading them to safety, quickly responding to treat them with the highest levels of service and helping them pass their troubles.
This award was dedicated to honoring the successful and active institutions which have promising programs aiming at achieving clear strategies to promote the foundations of medical tourism and apply them on the ground.
In her speech during the ceremony, Dr Reem Othman stressed that this Award will enhance confidence in the services provided by the Hospital and establish the policy of Dubai and its wise government represented in promoting medical tourism, developing medical services and improving the performance of its employees; whether doctors, nurses, paramedics team, technicians and managers, pointing out that medical services available in Dubai are up to the advanced standards worldwide, which means that the Emirate has become a center for medical tourism in the region and the world. She said that every year SGH receives around 200 patients from several countries including Russia, UK, India, Pakistan, Kenya, Guinea, Nigeria and other African countries.
