VP, Mohamed attend Idex, Navdex opening

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have attended the opening of the 14th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Idex), and the 5th Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition, Navdex 2019.
Also present during the opening were Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Ibrahim Kasuri Fofana, Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea; Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic; along with Their Highnesses the Crown Princes.
The two leaders received political and military leaders participating in the exhibitions. Their Highnesses welcomed the guests, wishing them a pleasant stay in the United Arab Emirates, which, they said, is always open to people from all around the world.

Idex, Navdex gather world in UAE, says Hazza bin Zayed

His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, highlighted the importance of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Idex), and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (Navdex 2019, which are being held in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
On the occasion of the start of both exhibitions on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec), he said that they are unique economic, technological and military events taking place in the UAE, in which major companies and the best practices and minds are shaping the present and future of the defence industry and its relationship to the development of countries.

Saif visits Idex 2019

HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, visited the halls of Idex 2019.
His Highness was briefed on the latest developments and technologies related to military and defence fields, and exchanged talks with Idex participants on the latest artificial intelligence technologies and simulation systems available in the defence sector.
