The first political consultation committee between the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) and the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Malta took place virtually.
The meeting was chaired by ambassador Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs and Permanent Representative of the UAE to the United Nations, and Christopher Cutajar, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta.
“Malta is a long-standing partner of the UAE, and we were pleased to hold constructive political consultations with our colleagues in Malta’s foreign ministry,” said Ambassador Lana Zaki Nusseibeh.
The two sides explored opportunities to strengthen their well-established bilateral ties through joint collaboration on shared interests in areas such as trade, investment, and energy.
