UAE, Kyrgyz chambers discuss boosting cooperation

The Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry has held a working meeting with officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and major Kyrgyz companies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to develop and strengthen trade and investment markets between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan. Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry said that the meeting comes in light of the desire of the private sector in the two countries to expand horizons of cooperation and explore investment opportunities and commercial markets available to the business sector.
He also highlighted the role played by the UAE private sector in the country’s Centennial 2071, and the sectors that provide opportunities for
foreign investors in the UAE, most notably the renewable energy, industry, agriculture, tourism, health care,
transportation, logistics, information technology and communications sectors.
Salem called on the federation to intensify the exchange of trade delegations and information on investment opportunities and regulations, and encourage the establishment of exhibitions and forums.
He also expected that the coming period would witness intensive activity for the private sector between the two countries.
