HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, draws attention to the UAE’s efforts in supporting orphans.
He spoke at length about orphan care in the UAE during his visit to the fourth Ajman Festival for Orphans.
Drawing attention to the UAE leadership’s commitment to the orphan case and Islam’s teachings on the same, he said that “efforts to empower the orphans and helping them turn into active and productive members of the society are important.” His Highness added that “the Emirate of Ajman is doing everything it can to remove hurdles faced by orphans, and to meet their various needs.”
The festival, attended by over 150 orphans and organised by emirate’s Coordinating Council for Charitable and Humanitarian Institutions at His Highness’ retreat in Al Helio, also saw the Ajman Ruler honouring outstanding students among the orphans, and all those who contributed to the event.
The event was attended by a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
