Toshiba unveils Turntable–LP 200

Toshiba announced the Middle East-India launch of its turntable audio system designed to wow music lovers with a blend of the vintage and modern.
The Toshiba Turntable–LP 200 with Bluetooth connectivity and bundled with stereo speakers is a fusion of retro and latest digital technology that enables users to listen to music the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
Priced at AED699, the new audio marvel that lets the listener stream music wirelessly or listen to Vinyl records on a wood-encased 12-inch turntable is now available across Middle East and Africa as well Indian markets in leading retail stores and online.

Bhavanthu Santosh Varghese, Vice President – Toshiba MEA, said the Turntable–LP 200 is a regional first by Toshiba. “Toshiba is excited to launch the turntable concept in MEA and India markets. This is a unique product that offers a fusion of the old (Gramophone) and the new (Bluetooth and digital) technology.”
Toshiba has designed its Turntable range to offer users control and convenience. They can now listen to albums with remote speakers throughout the house or sync with their mobile device with seamless connectivity.
Turntable-LP 200 will cater to all age groups. It offers a sense of nostalgia for the older generation music lovers and excitement for the Millennials. “Since music sounds better in stereo format, Toshiba has featured stereo speakers in the turntable for unmatched projection and clarity straight from the needle to your ears. Rest assured that your vintage music will sound fresh from the records,” said Mr Varghese.
Toshiba Turntable’s Bluetooth and a USB port enable the option of digitising music lover’s vintage vinyl record collection by converting those into a digital format and transfer on to a USB drive to play it on other devices like PC, car audio and also Smartphones or streaming audio from those devices and play them on LP200 Speakers. The belt-drive turntable has a changeable ceramic cartridge and stylus for added versatility.
