As the mercury soars up, and the sun is all out in its glory, everyone is mapping out ways to beat the heat. According to Abu Dhabi Travel Pattern, 2009, the average time that a person spends travelling in his vehicle is approximately 50 minutes per day. Considering the same, Arabian Automobile Company has come up with a campaign to help people
stay away from too much heat and drive easier.
AAC is offering a free of charge air-conditioner check on its Nissan and Infiniti models to ensure a smooth, hassle-free driving experience to customers across its branches in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Reports say the highest number of trips is usually to and from the workplace. Then comes education, shopping, leisure/recreation, other work related and personal business, and others. With Ramadan around the corner, working hours are scheduled to be lesser and travelling during
the hottest hours of the day would increase.
Sharad Dubey, Director of Aftersales at Arabian Automobiles Company, told Emirates Business, “As the summer season has been around the corner, AAC has taken the initiative to bring a little relief to you consumers and be prepared for the extreme temperature. We are to launch an AC campaign to ensure that our Nissan and Infiniti customers enjoy a trouble free summer.â€
Abu Dhabi Travel Pattern Nearly also estimates that around 50 percent of men and 56 percent of women use a car as their main mode of travel. As a percentage of trips, men (22 percent) walk nearly three times as much as women (8 percent). Considering, the extreme heat conditions, the consumption of AC is high during this season in comparison to any other season. It is essential for the residents to follow a regular maintenance of their car.
“This campaign would provide the customers free AC gas top-up along with a complimentary 17 point AC check. All the vehicles are checked by trained professionals that are capable of executing any A/C repairs,†he added.
