Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme inks deals worth AED1 billion

Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Zayed HousingProgramme, has signed two contracts on the construction and maintenance of the Al Montazi Residential Complex in the Mohamed bin Zayed Region of Ajman, valued at around AED1 billion, with the China State Construction Engineering Company Middle East (CSCME) and Dabco Construction.
The signing of the contracts was held at the headquarters of the programme in Dubai. The contracts state that the allocated land will be fully settled and coordination will soon begin with local authorities to begin the launch of the project, the largest of its kind in Ajman.
Al Nuaimi said that achieving stability in the residential sector and making citizens happy are considered among the top priorities of the wise leadership, adding that signing the contracts to build the Al Montazi Residential Complex is an investment in the emirate’s partnerships with government authorities and the private sector, with the aim of making local citizens happy and achieving the programme’s strategy of developing residential complexes and districts, according to the best international standards. The Al Montazi Residential Complex is located in the Mohamed bin Zayed Region of Ajman between Sheikh Zayed Street and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Street, with an area of 954,528,693 square metres.
The project will also meet global sustainability criteria and environmental standards. The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme applies the “Estidama and Pearl Standards” to all its residential projects.
UAE nationals applying
for housing support can also apply for government-subsidised housing in one of the programme’s residential complexes, by filling in the required form on the programme’s website or at the customer happiness centre at its headquarters in Dubai, or in the Northern and Eastern regions.
