Sharjah Ruler issues Emiri decree establishing University of Kalba

HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree on the establishment of the University of Kalba (UoK).
The Decree stipulates the establishment of a non-profit Arab academic scientific institution in the Emirate of Sharjah named the “University of Kalba”.
The university is a legal entity and has the necessary capacity to achieve its goals. It also enjoys financial and administrative independence.
The Decree also states that the university will be headed by HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. A law will be issued to organise the university, its colleges, departments, management and all its affairs.
