Within a period of one week, the Saudi German Hospital Dubai (SGH Dubai) won two international accreditations, emphasising its leadership position in the healthcare industry in the UAE and region at large.
The first accreditation for quality is from the Joint Commission International in the United States of America (JCI) and this accreditation represents an international recognition for adopting the highest standards of medical quality
The International Accreditation Committee, visited the hospital, endorsed that the hospital has high scientific and practical capabilities, advanced initiatives, systems and process in place to serve patients and to optimize the satisfaction by providing the best medical and health care services
It is also highlighted that the hospital obtained this accreditation for the third time after 2014-2017.
The second accreditation is from the American College of Pathology (CAP), which is awarded to SGH Dubai for its facilities in meeting the highest standards of excellence and quality in laboratory practices and procedures. (CAP) is an internationally recognised international accreditation for laboratories that meet stringent standards for examining the quality of staff ’competence, clinical laboratory records and quality control procedures. In addition they also evaluate laboratory equipment, facilities, and safety program in in comprehensive laboratory management.
