Senaat on Sunday announced its support to the 8th edition of Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, one of the most celebrated cultural festivals in Abu Dhabi.
Held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the festival is an annual event established to honour the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for his pivotal role in preserving the nation’s proud history as a gateway to the future.
The festival will take place until January 27, 2018 at Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi.
Held under the theme, ‘Where World Cultures Meet’, the festival will celebrate the UAE’s cultural inheritance and the rich diversity of its traditions through live cultural performances, horse shows, date and classic car exhibitions, funfair, cooking classes and traditional crafts from the UAE and around the world.
