Saqr Port, Hutchison Ports sign 25-year concession deal

HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, emphasised that Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah wants to build an integrated commercial infrastructure that will attract investors and businessmen from all over the world. He made his remarks at the signing of a 25-year concession agreement between Saqr Port and Hutchison Ports, whereby the latter will develop and operate the facilities at the Saqr Port container terminal.
Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi said, “One of our objectives in Ras al-Khaimah is to create business infrastructure that will attract investors and entrepreneurs from around the world. Hutchison Ports Ras al-Khaimah plans for future development of the Saqr Port facilities are a key piece in our logistics which will encourage those with interest to make commitment to the emirate.”
