The National Media Council (NMC), Director-General said that rapid developments in technology have established “a new reality” in the media industry.
In a statement during Arab Media Forum 2019, Mansour Al Mansouri affirmed, “Rapid and continuous technological developments have established a new reality in media industry – a reality that has transformed every component of the sector, ushering in new concepts and mechanisms onto the media scene, engaging all segments of community, and empowering them to create their content through various platforms.
He went on to say that the Arab Media Forum has always presented a platform for exchanging points of view and debating ways to upgrade media profession in the Arab World.
