All services offered by the National Media Council (NMC) are now readily available online to the media regulator’s customers via its new official smart app ‘NMC UAE APP’, launched on the first day of the 36th GITEX Technology Week (GITEX 2016).
Fee payments and inquiries about media services and activities are just a few of the smart and interactive facilities customers can get from the app.
“We participated at GITEX to highlight the NMC’s role and strategic goals, including enhanced legislation and regulations for the media sector in the UAE and an advanced work environment that meets quality, efficiency and transparency standards,” said Acting Mansour Al Mansouri, Director-General of the NMC.
“The council seeks to enhance, streamline and increase its services by allowing users to log in using their IDs to save time,” he said, and noted that the new app and an upgraded website will better serve these goals.
Offering the best services in the easiest way to customers is a top priority for the NMC which recently launched its own happiness index to draw feedback and measure customer satisfaction, Al Mansouri added.
