Mohamed, US official discuss joint efforts to dry up sources of terrorism financing

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Steven Mnuchin, US Secretary of the Treasury, to discuss joint efforts to dry up sources of terrorism financing and take stock of the latest regional and global developments of mutual concern.
Mnuchin is visiting the UAE as part of tour of the region.
During the meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace on Sunday, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the US Secretary of Treasury tackled a variety of economic issues with emphasis on investment and trade.
His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser; Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Barbara Leaf, Ambassador of the United States to the UAE, Barbara and the delegation accompanying the Secretary of Treasury attended the meeting.
