Ministry bans work under sunlight from 12:30-3pm

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation begins on June 15 banning any sort of work under direct sunlight between 12:30 till 15:00, the midday break shall
commence till September 15.
Maher Al Obed, Assistant Undersecretary for Inspectional Affairs, said, “18 teams from the ministry will monitor the level of compliance throughout the decided period. Three teams are formed in Abu Dhabi, two in Al Ain, four teams in Dubai, two in Sharjah, two in Ajman, two teams in Ras Al Khaimah, two in Fujairah and one team in Um Al Quwain.”
“Twenty thousand awareness field visits are planned to be carried out,” Al Obed said, something which actually began from 26th of May. “The teams are ready to hit 60,000 inspectional visits across the nation to make sure all facilities commit to the law,” he said.
Furthermore, an internal committee shall be ready to receive any grievance requests and handle it with complete transparently and objectively.
“Ministry inspectors, will for the first time, deal with the smart inspections system, a new mechanism that would make it easier in terms of monitoring and documenting such violations,” Al Obed added.
