MBRSC brings smile on faces of children at Dubai Hospital

In line with the initiative of the Year of Giving and its social responsibility, Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) employees and engineers visited the Pediatric Department at Dubai Hospital, aiming to bring happiness to children with critical illnesses and provide support to overcome the disease.
During the visit, the Centre’s staff held interactive space workshops and painting sessions inspired from the space world. They also organized read stories to the kids and selections from “The Red Planet” MBRSC kids magazine. All the staff, accompanied by doctors and nurses, had a tour to children who had difficulties to roam around the place. The employees distributed giveaways to them.
Mona Al Qemzi, Assistant Director-General for Corporate Support Sector at MBRSC, said: “The Center’s team is pleased to visit Dubai Hospital, a medical facility that carries a high humanitarian message, relieves the pain of children and helps them get rid of their illness.”
Al Qemzi stressed that the Centre always carries out initiatives that holds values of giving, hope and happiness, reflecting its responsibility towards society and all its sectors. She hoped that “the visit to the hospital has contributed to raising the children’s morale and motivated them towards recovery.”
