His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, today received Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity, who is on a working visit to the UAE to participate in the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024 being held in Dubai.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of WGS 2024, His Highness Sheikh Mansour and Prime Minister Dbeibah discussed ways to boost UAE-Libya cooperation across various economic and developmental fields to help achieve their peoples’ aspirations for development and prosperity.
The meeting also touched on the work of the World Governments Summit and the importance of the topics it spotlights to shape the future of governments and contribute to building a better future for societies and countries by empowering decision-makers to enhance their readiness for the future.
Dbeibah expressed his appreciation to the UAE for inviting his country to participate in WGS 2024, noting the importance of the summit as a global platform for dialogue on developing government work at a global scale.
