Kia named best ‘Small SUV’ in region

The new Kia Sportage has been received recognition for being the most desirable ‘Best Small SUV of the Year’ at the prestigious 2016 Middle East Car of the Year Awards.
The fourth-generation Kia Sportage features a bold new look, with the vehicle’s designers creating a sense of sporty and powerful energy from every angle. Soon-Nam Lee, President of Kia Middle East and Africa (MEA) Regional HQ , while commenting on the achievement, said, “We are totally enthralled with the achievement. The all-new sportage has gained incredible mileage in the region. It was been grabbing the eyeball of all the motoring experts as well as the customers.”
Kia’s latest Sportage model has been designed by the design studio in Frankfurt, Germany, also the design incorporated inputs from the brand’s Namyang, Korea and Irvine, California design centers. The all-new Sportage creates visual harmony out of the tension and contrast between its sharp, defined feature lines and smooth surfacing.
“The Kia Sportage plays the key role in driving Kia Motors’ sustained growth and success around the world in recent years, with more than 1.6 million of the third-generation model sold worldwide between 2010 and 2015. The Middle East Car of the Year Awards is regarded as the most prestigious award in the Middle East’s automotive industry. This award adds a great value to the automotive company. The awards are categorised including Group A (Sedan/ Executive), Group B (SUV/Truck) and Group C (Performance).
