ITC showcases UAVs at Gulf Traffic Exhibition

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), is participating at the 16th edition of the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference aiming at introducing the public with ITC’s latest projects, initiatives and smart applications.
Mohammed Darwish Al Qamzi, the General Manager of the ITC, said that the projects and smart applications the ITC is presenting in the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference offer intelligent and integrated solutions offered in the transport sector in which enhance the level of the services provided to the society.
The Integrated Transport Centre presented Al Gernas, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that offers a new integrated approach to enhancing the processes of collecting real-time transport and traffic data that serves the society in an innovative way that will improve the quality of the transport services. Al Gernas can also present required solutions to deal with accidents and emergencies, monitor the traffic and parking violations. It can fly to 7km and broadcast a 360 live record of
the area.
Additionally, “Tadreebi” application is presented during the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Congress. The application includes 38 training units and is linked with the Unified Licensing System that are available for the taxi drivers. The training program helps the drivers to finish the required training whereas each hour in the application equals three in-class training. “Taxi” application offers the public an easy way to book a taxi and any related services as well.
The Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference – running until 6th December – includes seminars and discussion sessions about the public transport, traffic, bridges and roads to find the latest solutions and support the infrastructure in the transport sector.
