The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi – Abu Dhabi (IITD-AD), the flagship international campus of India’s globally acclaimed Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), has officially opened undergraduate admissions for the Academic Year 2026–27, with the first round of the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) scheduled for November 23, 2025. Recognized among the top 30 institutions globally in Engineering and Technology by QS World University Rankings 2025, IIT Delhi brings its legacy of over six decades in advancing research, education, and innovation to the UAE. Additional CAET sessions will be held in the coming months. Candidates are allowed to appear in up to two sessions, and the best score will be considered for the admission process. IITD-AD welcomes applicants from around the world to join its international community.
IITD–AD offers students the opportunity to pursue a world-class STEM education in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s vibrant innovation ecosystem. The campus is fully licensed and accredited by the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) and is listed on the National Academic Positions Online (NAPO) portal, reflecting its recognition and alignment with the UAE’s national educational priorities.
IITD-AD’s undergraduate programs, currently offered in Computer Science & Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, are designed to prepare students for leadership in the world’s most future-focused industries. The curriculum and academic standards at IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi are equivalent to those of IIT Delhi and have been approved by the IIT Delhi Senate, ensuring the same level of excellence, rigour, and recognition. Delivered in a student-centric and globally competitive environment, these programs reflect the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. As IITD-AD continues to grow, additional undergraduate offerings are expected to launch by Academic Year 2026-27 (beginning August 2026), expanding opportunities for students to engage with emerging disciplines and meet the evolving demands of the UAE’s technology and innovation sectors.
