H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, received Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, accompanied by members of the Riyada Development Programme team in Al Dhafra at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed was briefed on the outcomes of the team’s recent visit to the Al Dhafra Region. The visit included a series of engagements with local entrepreneurs and officials aimed at identifying key challenges facing the entrepreneurial sector in Al Dhafra region. The team also reviewed the progress of ongoing development initiatives and programmes across various cities in Al Dhafra.
H.H. commended the vital role of the Riyada Development Programme team in fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting innovation. He highlighted the programme’s efforts in empowering youth and aspiring innovators to establish pioneering startups that contribute to comprehensive development goals and institutional performance excellence.
H.H. drew attention to the importance of enhancing coordination and integration between federal and local government entities to meet community needs and elevate the overall quality of life.
He also noted that the Al Dhafra Region is witnessing transformative progress across multiple sectors, driven by the unwavering support of the UAE’s wise leadership.
He was also updated on key initiatives under the programme, particularly those focused on developing national talent and embedding continuous innovation and improvement practices within institutions.
Alia Al Mazrouei expressed her sincere gratitude to H.H. for his ongoing support of the entrepreneurship sector.
She also emphasised that this support is a major driver of the team’s continued commitment to delivering results with excellence and impact.
