Fatima bint Mubarak receives UAE female ambassadors abroad

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (The Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), received a group of UAE female ambassadors abroad.
The meeting was held in the presence of H.H. Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and H.H. Sheikha Alyazia bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak received Hissa Abdulla Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation; Fatima Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway; Hanan Al Aleeli, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Latvia; Hend Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to France; and Amna Mahmoud Fikri, Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Finland.

Sheikha Fatima was briefed on the efforts of the female ambassadors to serve UAE citizens abroad and provide them with all forms of support and care, in addition to strengthening the UAE’s foreign relations, and build bridges of cooperation with friendly countries in a way that serves the highest interests of the UAE and enhances its leading position at the regional and international levels.
The Mother of the Nation praised the efforts of the UAE female ambassadors abroad and their keenness to preform their duties to the fullest extent, contributing to providing integrated services to UAE citizens abroad and promoting the UAE’s reputation both regionally and globally, in addition to spreading the values of tolerance, coexistence and enhancing cooperation and fraternity between peoples.
For their part, the UAE female ambassadors expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for her limitless support for Emirati women and her motivation for excellence and creativity in various sectors of work.
